Merry (Belated) Christmas!

Merry Christmas! My christmas was wonderful. Christmas morning, I woke up at 2:30am, which was odd since I normally wake up at 7am. I went downstairs and looked at the tree, then went upstairs to ask my mom if i could open presents. She said no, and made me go back to bed, but I couldn't sleep, so I tossed and turned for 2 hours, until 4:40, where i asked again. She said no, but at 5:30, she let me go downstairs to open presents.

All I really wanted was a Macbook, but I was satisfied with what I got:

From friends:
  • $25 iTunes card
  • Bath and Body Works Kit in Japanese Cherry Blossom
  • 2 Opi Nail Polishes
  • A bag of Rolos, my favorite candy

From Parents:

  • Rock Band for Wii
  • Sony iPod Dock
  • DVD Player
  • Juno, The Dark Knight, Get Smart, Baby Mama
  • 808s and Heartbreak by Kanye West
  • Rediculously comfortable slippers
  • $15 iTunes card
  • Some weird educational CDs on high school math and spanish
  • Game Party for Wii
  • $260

From Family

  • $95
  • $15 iTunes Card
  • really cute agenda

I saw happy. Around 4pm my mom and I went over my aunt's house to open more presents. I saw my cousin who was born on 08.08.08. He's adorable! My cousin and I played Rock Band until midnight, me on the guitar, her on the drums. We left at 12:30 and didn't get home until 1am.

Now, I'm saving up for a Macbook, which i have decided I will get sometime in the next year or so. And I happen to be in love with Robocop by Kanye West, Maps by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Youth by MGMT (I love the whole Oracular Spectacular CD, but this song is by far my favorite). It's 3:50 in the morning, I think that's time for me to call it a night (or a morning).

Bienvenue!

(Welcome in French)

Welcome to Sparkles In The Sky, my blog. This blog won't be anything special, but a few pictures here and there, and about my life.

'Tis the season! I found this picture on "bombaykino"'s Flickr.

I love the Christmas season, it just makes me so happy. It seems that almost everyone I know is in a good mood, which makes me even happier. And the decorations add to it! That's mostly the reason why I happen to adore this picture with all of my heart. Sure, the dog is cute, but my favorite part is the silver Christmas tree and the hot pink stockings. How cute!

Well, I must return to the tedious task of cleaning my room while listening to Goldfrapp, so goodbye!
